Go shopping at the Cuchara Country Store & Gift Shop, Dakota Dukes, Cuchara Liquor or stop by the The Bear’s Den Mini Golf & Gift Shop for a round of mini golf. Check out Cuchara’s Higher Ground Coffee Bar at the entrance to the Cuchara Mountain Resort. Play disc golf or take a hike at the Cuchara Mountain Park. Attend Sunday morning chapel services at our historic Cuchara Chapel or the Cuchara Christian Fellowship. The road to Cuchara

Take Colorado State Highway 12, “The Scenic Highway of Legends” which offers one of the most scenic, beautiful and historic drives in Colorado. The Colorado State Scenic Byway begins either in La Veta or Trinidad and takes you through 22 communities, points of interest, scenic vistas, historical, cultural and recreational areas. In and around the Cuchara Valley is a wonderful opportunity to view all the geological wonders of the area. Check out The Great Dikes, The Spanish Peaks and the Goemmer Butte.
